General Information
Holy Rosary and Lewis King Elementary schools were amalgamated by a resolution from Council in March 2004. The name of the school reflects the immediate environment of the two campuses, the magnificent pine trees of the Lanaudière area.
Services
Pinewood Elementary is an English school, with a strong French second language program. Our teachers attend workshops frequently to keep up to date with the latest innovations in education.
Both campuses are equipped with classrooms with a Smartboards, and some laptops are accessible to students. Our students also enjoy the use of our growing collection of iPads.
Parent Participation
Pinewood’s biggest strength is its sense of community. Our parents are encouraged to play an active and integral part in their child’s academic and extra-curricular life. The PPO’s fundraiser reflects this philosophy by holding family events to reach fundraising goals.
